BELIEVERS DON'T SIN

BELIEVERS DON'T SIN

Firstly, what is “sin”?

According to Strong’s Concordance, the word “sin” is translated from the Greek word “HAMARTANO” (Strong’s #264) which means “To miss the mark so as to not share in the prize.  To trespass: 1) against God; 2) against Christ; 3) against people; 4) against self; 5) against masters.”

It’s this second definition that’s most important here, to trespass….

I AM THE WAY

I AM THE WAY

"I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except by Me." (JN 14:6)

By Me.
That is, by “My Way”, because “I am the way…”   Ultimately God's way really: the path of forgiveness leading from the cross where His only begotten Son Jesus died interceding for you, to a place in your life where you finally admit “the truth”.  The truth that God is sovereign and you need Him.  That you need His mercy, a gift made available to you by Jesus’ intercession on the cross.
