Feet are examples of God’s creativity:
“How beautiful are your feet with sandals, O Prince’s daughter…the work of the hands of a cunning craftsman.” (SS 7:1)
Precious are the feet of God’s chosen ones.
“He will guard the feet of His saints.” (1SM 2:9)
A diet of only bread and water can be considered bland, boring, and insufficient--restrictive even. In fact such a diet is sometimes imposed as a form of punishment!
